Lisa Shaw (vocals, keyboard and guitar) and Tom Hashagen (vocals, guitar and mandolin) have been making music together for over three decades in various configurations. Their musical strength lies in the ability to tailor their sound to varied audiences, providing surprising and interesting interpretations of classic standards from the blues, bluegrass, rock, folk and jazz genres. You'll recognize many of the selections they perform, but they also tend to dig a bit deeper for obscure and "B-side" songs you probably won't hear that often. They perform as a duo, trio, quartet or quintet, collaborating with Doug Broder, bass, Henry Goode Jr., bass, Steve Uh, violin, Scott Hewett, drums and other terrific local musicians.
Tom and Lisa are also privileged to serve on the music team at Grace Presbyterian Church in Watermill.

What We Play!
One of the most fun aspects of our band is that we love to explore multiple genres. There's so much good music that it's hard to pick a favorite...so we don't! By clicking on the images or buttons below you get a pretty good representation of our repertoire. Explore what we do and get to know us musically!
The 30s, 40s and 50s yielded some of the best music and lyrics ever written. We pay tribute to those great hits, but also dig for the more obscure and "B-side" selections that should be heard!
Blues & Rock
While staying true to some familiar favorites, we also like to try our own arrangements of other songs you might (and might not!) know. So much music, so little time!
Folk & Bluegrass
Spritely fiddles, soft guitars, and a distinctive mandolin compliment the harmonic vocals typical of these genres. Vintage folk ballads take their place along side quick fiddle tune medleys for an interesting variety.
