The season ramps up!!
We're so excited to be featured at 230 Elm in Southampton, a venue coordinated by Fred Riamondo, an East Ender and an excellent singer and songwriter himself. Fred does a great job of shining the spotlight on East End musicians, singers and songwriters, in a performance space where the music is the feature and not the background!
Thanks to the crazy Memorial Day weather we were inside at the Manor House in Mashomack on Sunday, but still had lots of fun playing with our pal Doug Broder, Esq., on bass guitar. Doug is a fine musician, one of the first graduates of the electric bass program at the Berklee School of Music, and has played with a ton of amazing musicians. He's one of those guys who just knows intuitively where to go to make the band sound the best, and takes terrific solos! We're happy to be playing with Doug at our Ram's Head Inn and Shipwreck dates here on the "rock" this summer!
We're also psyched to be playing at several new spots this season, including our first-ever gig at Town Line BBQ on June 29! Our "southside" band of pranksters, including the amazing Steve Uh, an incredible songrwriter/singer who plays fiddle, guitar, keys and who-knows-what-else, plus the inimitable Henry Goode Jr on bass and special guest, drummer Scott Hewett, who by the way is a gifted artist with works and shows all over the East End! This very same band, sans Scott, will also be at Baron's Cove celebrating the Fourth!
